Holmewood Toy Library

Grant from the Provincial Grand Master’s Fund supports Holmewood Toy Library

Holmewood Toy Library

For thirty years Holmewood Toy Library; a registered Charity; has been lending toys to Children under five years old in the South Bradford area.

There are many children who without the library would not get the opportunity to play with the diversity of toys that they provide.

On Thursday 6th October 2011 the Worshipful Master and Charity Representative visited the library to present them with a cheque from the Provincial Grand Masters’ fund.

After learning a little of what the library does, the cheque for £1000 was presented to Mrs Geraldine Parker the Library Chair Person.

Mrs Parker thanked the Brethren and said, ‘We have a large number of worn out and broken toys that urgently need replacing and this money will go a long way to help us do that.

Our children will be stimulated by the new and exciting toys we hope to provide.’
